Design in "cotton candy" colors

The visual style of the website is based on the client's precise vision - vibrant pastel colors reminiscent of cotton candy. My task was to technically implement this design so that it would be fully functional and responsive, solve the display of speaker profiles across the website, and overall structure the website content.

Program as a visual experience

I processed the conference program into a clear timeline with visual separation of different types of activities.

Networking breaks and lunch are highlighted with different backgrounds, allowing quick orientation in the program. Each block contains time, lecture title, speaker name, and the organization they work for.

Speaker database

Speakers are presented in the form of interactive profiles that contain a photo, name, job position, and LinkedIn link. When clicked, a detailed profile with expanded information is displayed.

The tag system in administration allows flexible display of speakers in different parts of the website (past years, speaker database, current year) without needing to modify them.

Interactive gallery Photos have reduced brightness by default, when hovered over with the mouse they display with correct coloring. Clicking on a photo opens it in full size. This element adds dynamism and interactivity to the gallery.

Technical solution The website is built on WordPress using Oxygen builder. Registration of new speakers is handled through a form, where after filling out the form, organizers receive an email.

Data is processed manually, there aren't that many speakers, so it didn't make sense to automate the filled data further. However, if there were more, it could utilize solutions through Gravity Forms.

Archive of previous years is handled as separate pages accessible from the main menu.
